It was an incredible experience photographing Thamyres and Sandro's wedding, a much-loved couple from Minas Gerais who brought the warmth and joy of their home state to Rio de Janeiro. Surrounded by friends and family who traveled from several cities, they turned the day into a celebration full of love and emotion.
The day began at Hotel Prodigy Santos Dumont, where Thamyres chose to get ready. The hotel was the perfect choice, with rooms lit by natural light and an incredible view of Rio de Janeiro. She was accompanied only by her mother, which is great for having more space and calm.
The most special moment of the getting-ready session happened on the hotel's rooftop, with Sugarloaf Mountain, the sea and Rio's sky as the perfect backdrop. Aligning the schedule matters a great deal, so there's calm time for plenty of photos of the bride ready.
Cais do Oriente was the chosen setting for the ceremony and the party. The venue's rustic, charming atmosphere paired perfectly with the wedding's style. The aisle was decorated with white flowers, and the ceremony was movingly led by the couple's best friend.
After the ceremony, we set aside time for the newlyweds' photo session, one of my favorite moments of the day. We chose the outside area of Cais do Oriente, in "Rio Antigo", for these images, exploring my artistic side as a photographer.
The light, the venue's textures, and the connection between the couple are my main ingredients for composing photographs that go beyond the obvious. Ending the day capturing emotional smiles and hugs was a gift.
If you also dream of making your big day timeless in a unique and meaningful way, it would be a pleasure to tell your story through my lens.
