Nicole and Leonardo got married at Green House, in Jardim Guanabara, on Ilha do Governador, Rio de Janeiro. The venue has a chapel, large gardens and old trees, so everything can happen in one place.
A wedding at Green House
If you are researching Green House on Ilha do Governador as a wedding venue, this wedding shows its spaces well: the little white chapel in the middle of the garden, the glass house, the stone paths and the reception hall.
The ceremony had a red carpet and a ceiling of white flowers hanging over the aisle. Beautiful in person and even more so in photos, with the light coming through the flowers.
Getting ready and bridal portraits
Nicole got ready right there, with the chapel in the background. Then we took our time with portraits in the glass house and around the gardens, using the afternoon light and every detail of the dress, like the bow on the back.
The arrival and the ceremony
Nicole arrived in a vintage car and walked down the red carpet accompanied, with Leonardo waiting at the altar. There was a rosary in their hands, the rings, emotional guests and the kiss under the flowers.
Portraits at the chapel
After the ceremony I took the two of them to the garden chapel. Some time just for the two of them, which gave us some of the most beautiful photos of the day.
The party at Green House
The party had a first dance under an arch of flowers, a speech from the couple, a toast, the bouquet toss and a full dance floor with the hall's colored lights.
